Hardik Pandya made his ODI debut on 16 October 2016 against New Zealand at Dharamshala. He became the fourth Indian to be named Player of the Match on ODI debut. It showed how talented the player was in his early debut era. 

• 2017 ICC Champions Trophy: Pandya made a memorable play in the final against Pakistan at The Oval. He fearlessly made 76 runs off 43 balls.
