Core Strengths of RCB
1) Elite top-order firepower
RCB has always been known for having very strong batters who can change the match quickly. Players like Virat Kohli have helped the team score very fast. RCB often dominates games within the first 10 overs because of this strong batting lineup.
2) Huge and loyal fanbase
RCB has one of the biggest fan bases in the IPL. They are called the “12th Man Army’’ by the fans. Their home matches in Bengaluru feel very energetic because of the crowd support. This strong fanbase motivates the players a lot.
3) Improved team balance in recent years
RCB relied too much on a few star players during the early years of IPL. But they have become more balanced now. Players are trained well, so they don't have to be dependent.
Core Weaknesses of RCB
1. Dependence on individual players
If top players like Kohli fail, the rest of the batting lineup often struggles to take responsibility. This has caused the team to lose in important matches.
2. Weak death bowling
RCB has mostly struggled with bowling in the final overs of matches. Their bowlers sometimes give away too many runs at the end. It makes it difficult to defend even large totals for the team. This problem has been a consistent weakness across different seasons.
3. Difficult home ground conditions
RCB’s home ground is very small. It is a batter-friendly stadium. This helps their batters score big runs easily. But the same conditions make it very hard for their bowlers to defend totals made by the other team.
